In 1951 or so, Robert’s father (who was in the Air Force) helped build the radar site in Naselle, Washington. In 1966, Robert helped close down the radar site. Today, the radar site is home to an array of commercial antenna systems and the base camp is a youth camp – just like it was in 1964 – 66.
We found this images on the web and have no way to determine who the photographer was. Since some of these were shot while Robert was there, he more than likely knew the photographer.
